Pont d'Arc ved floden Ardeche i departementet af samme navn. Ardeche er et område med en helt usædvanlig natur, med noget af det flotteste koncentreret omkring floden. Nogle steder ligner det nærmest Grand Canyon (som jeg dog kun har set på billeder), og en køretur langs floden fra Vallon Pont d' Arc til St. Martin d'Ardeche er et must hvis man er i området. Der er rigtig mange campingpladser, og en af dem, Camping La Résidence i St. Remize, ejes af en dansker, som bl.a. arrangerer kanoture på floden.

Pont d'Arc by the river Ardeche in the French province of Ardeche. This area is rich with nature of outstanding beauty, some of the most overwhelming scenery concentrated along the river. Some places the river is running deep down in a canyon, as if it was trying to create a French version of the Grand Canyon. If you're in the area, a ride along the river from Vallon Pont d'Arc to St. Martin d'Ardeche is a must. In the high season the area is quite populated with tourists, and there are many camp sites in the area, many of them arranging canoe trips on the river.
